Journeyman Machinist

CNC & Manual Machinist — Small Shop, Big Opportunity Full Time | Part Time Considered

We're a small, precision manufacturing shop that has been doing serious work for a long time. Almost everything we make is short-run and custom — no button mashing the same part 10,000 times. If you're the kind of machinist who gets bored doing the same thing every day, you'll fit in here.

We're looking for someone who genuinely knows what they're doing. That means you can pick up a blueprint, figure out the best way to approach the part, set up the machine, run it, and check your own work without being babysat. CNC lathe experience on FANUC or Haas controls is preferred. Manual lathe capability is a serious plus and will be reflected in your compensation.

What we're looking for: — 5+ years hands-on machining experience — Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding — Comfortable holding tight tolerances (±.0005") — Proficiency with standard inspection equipment — indicators, bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, optical comparator — CAD/CAM programming experience a plus but not a dealbreaker for the right person — English communication required; Polish, Bulgarian, and Spanish also spoken here

What you'll actually get: — Full benefits and 401K — Fully air-conditioned facility — A shop where your skill is recognized and your pay reflects it — Overtime available — Flexible scheduling considered for the right candidate — No corporate nonsense. You'll talk directly to the owner.

If you're tired of being a number at a large shop and want a place where what you know actually matters, we'd like to hear from you.
